When the parents are divorced, where do they sit?
In a typical Christian ceremony, when the groom's parents are divorced, the person who raised you would sit in the first pew at the church (on the right when facing the altar). If mom raised the groom, she would sit in the first pew. The groom's father who is remarried would then sit in the third pew with his spouse. If the groom grew up with his father, then the seating arrangements would reverse.
